GREEN LANDMARKS ABOUT PROJECT FOR MEDIA THE GREEN LANDMARKS BOOKLINKS
CONTACTS
Green Landmarks are examples of built heritage which meet the present energy-efficiency standards. A countryside house from the 19th century, a baroque château, a 1920´s villa, an Art Nouveau apartment building or an industrial hall - despite the fact that all these buildings are examples of architectural heritage, their energy consumption can be decreased through various modifications.
Green Landmarks join together two significant efforts; to preserve architectural heritage as well as to protect the environment and its energy resources. Preserved historic landmarks benefited by contemporary architecture represent a way to ensure continuous protection and sustainable development of a healthy and beautiful living environment.
